Civil All-in-One Calculator ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an offline-first civil engineering calculation toolkit. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android and iOS versions of Civil All-in-One Calculator.
1. No Account Required
You can use the App without creating an account, signing up, or logging in.
We do not require you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information to use the App.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App allows you to create and save certain information locally on your device, including:
Calculation inputs and results
Calculation history
Favorite calculators
Project information
Project notes
App preferences
Theme preferences
Language preferences
Country and unit preferences
Onboarding status
This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not have access to your locally stored calculations, projects, notes, or other content created within the App.
3. Analytics Information
The App uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to help us understand how users interact with the App and improve its functionality.
Analytics information may include general usage events, such as:
When the App is opened
Which screens are viewed
Which calculators are opened or favorited
Which calculator is completed
Whether a calculation succeeds or fails validation
When onboarding is completed
Changes to language or unit preferences
Notification interactions, where applicable
We do not intentionally send the actual calculation values or inputs you enter into the calculators through our analytics events.
We also do not intentionally send your project names, project notes, or other private content through our analytics events.
Firebase Analytics and Google may automatically process certain technical information associated with app usage, such as device information, operating system, app version, and approximate location or region, in accordance with their applicable policies.
4. How We Use Information
We use locally stored information to provide the App's features, including:
Saving and displaying calculation history
Managing favorites
Managing projects and notes
Remembering your preferences
Providing the App's core functionality
We use analytics information to:
Understand which features are useful
Improve the App's functionality
Identify potential issues
Monitor general App usage
Plan future improvements
We do not use your information to create advertising profiles.
The App does not display advertisements.
5. Offline Functionality
The App is designed to work offline.
Your calculations, projects, notes, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device and do not require an internet connection to access.
Certain third-party services, such as Firebase Analytics, may require an internet connection to transmit analytics information when such services are enabled and available.
6. Data Storage and Security
Information created and saved within the App is stored using the device's local storage and protected by the operating system's standard application security mechanisms.
We do not operate a remote server or database that stores your calculation inputs, calculation history, projects, or project notes.
Because this information is stored locally, we cannot access or recover your locally stored content if it is deleted, lost, or becomes inaccessible due to device failure, device reset, or app uninstallation.
7. Third-Party Services
The App currently uses:
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics is provided by Google and is used to understand general App usage and improve the App.
Google may process analytics information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

We do not currently integrate advertising SDKs into the App.
8. Sharing and Sale of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your locally stored calculations, projects, notes, or other locally stored App content with third parties because this information does not leave your device through our services.
Analytics information may be processed by Google through Firebase Analytics as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Your locally stored information remains on your device until you:
Delete it within the App, where deletion functionality is available; or
Uninstall the App; or
Clear the App's data through your device settings.
Uninstalling the App may permanently remove locally stored App data from your device.
Analytics information collected through Firebase Analytics may be retained by Google according to Firebase Analytics' applicable data retention settings and policies.
10. Children's Privacy
Civil All-in-One Calculator is designed primarily as a civil engineering calculation tool for engineering students, professionals, and other users.
The App is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action where required.
11. Your Choices
You can use the App without creating an account or providing personal information.
You can:
Delete saved calculations where supported
Delete calculation history
Remove favorites
Delete projects and notes
Change your App preferences
Uninstall the App at any time
You may also be able to manage analytics or privacy-related settings through your Android or iOS device settings.
Please note that deleting locally stored App data or uninstalling the App may permanently remove your saved calculations, projects, notes, and preferences.
12. Data Security Disclaimer
While we take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because your calculation data and project information are primarily stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including device passwords, screen locks, and operating system security updates.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date and Version at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
